Welcome from the Head Teacher Nursery
Textile Bin
A St. Patrick’s Primary School and Nursery Class Textile Bin can now be located in the car park of the new Aldi store in Strathaven.
This bin is a receptacle for the following items: clothes, belts, shoes, bedding, bags and curtains (no duvets or pillows).
In addition to this, a smaller 'school bin' is located in the school for pupils to bring, in tied bags, clothes and textiles which are no longer used.
The school will benefit financially every time the bin is emptied for recycling.

Gastrointestinal Infection
Children who suffer gastrointestinal infection are at increased risk of spreading the infection to others.  Therefore the advice given from Lanarkshire NHS Board and Education Resources is that children should remain absent from school or nursery for 48 hours after symptoms of diarrhoea or vomiting have resolved, regardless of whether they have a confirmed infection.  Please click on link for more information:        Exclusion Criteria for Children in Childminding and Daycare Settings
